memorable memorial

a bunch of "first things" this past memorial day:

my first haircut (papa REALLY wanted to take me and so my uncle matt cut my hair. it was not as bad as it looks.):


my first baseball game. my friend henry and i went with our parents:


i ate dinner outside in my PJs for the first time!


mom and i looked for airplanes!


i carried a heavy phone book! (it was my booster seat)


and rolled around in the grass!

first, she was a horsey and gave me a ride:


then, she made me a fort:


then she helped me give all of my animals a "time out" (they were not being good listeners):


and then, we looked outside for birds and airplanes in the cold and rainy weather and played peekaboo:


one thing is for sure: aunt meg = fun!

of my many words, "cheese" is my favorite. i like to eat it, i like to say it, i like to smile for it, and i even named my goldfish after it. yes, cheese is an uva-family favorite.
